Community Improvement Club

The Community Improvement Club is a Treasure Lake affiliated club whose purpose is to enhance and improve the inherent attractiveness of our community by using the talents and energies of property owners. The focus of the club includes general clean-up and landscaping, along with other small maintenance projects.

Regular meetings of the Community Improvement Club are held the first Tuesday of each month, from April through November, at 6:30 p.m. in the POA Administration building. Work parties are scheduled at various times during the month. New volunteers are always welcome to join the club.  For more information, contact Ann Tuller at 814-371-3663.

Lions Club

For those residents interested in working to improve the Treasure Lake and DuBois communities, the Treasure Lake Lions Club offers the perfect opportunity. The club meets each second and fourth Thursday at 6:30 p.m. Members of this very active club support many local organizations, such as the Salvation Army, Boy Scouts, American Red Cross, American Cancer Society, Camp Cadet, DuBois Food Pantry, Special Olympics, DuBois Free Clinic, DuBois YMCA, Agape Community Services, and The Lions Hearing Research and Sight Conservation programs. Club members also maintain the Treasure Lake gazebo at the front gate and are responsible each year for a beautiful Christmas display at the entrance to the Lake.

To support these worthwhile organizations, the club members work diligently to raise money each year by hosting many events, some of which include: bingo during the summer at Cayman Lodge, the White Cane Event in July, the Lions Club Golf Tournament in June. In addition to these events, the club maintains an eye glass donation center in the Treasure Lake Postal Station. All monies raised by the Lions Club are returned to the local community.
