Position Available: Chef/Cook – Lakeview Lodge & Conference Center
Primary Responsibilities: Insures quality service to the owners, members and guests. Responsible for the coordination of all aspects of the production of menu items for all events. This includes, but is not limited to, maintaining effective communication with the Events Coordinator and Head Chef to assure a seamless event is achieved and follow up communication with the Events Coordinator or Head Chef. Responsible for all food/product preparation and assuring all food/product that is produced meets or exceeds all quality and safety standards.
Experience Required: At least 2 yrs. experience working as a chef or line cook. General knowledge of bookkeeping, inventory control, and managerial skills are essential. Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with subordinates, other department managers, and the general manager is important. The professional ability to communicate orally and in writing is expected. Must be capable of handling customer complaints with skill and efficiency and employees with respect.
