Position Available:  Chef/Cook – Lakeview Lodge & Conference Center

Primary Responsibilities: Insures quality service to the owners, members and guests.  Responsible for the coordination of all aspects of the production of menu items for all events. This includes, but is not limited to, maintaining effective communication with the Events Coordinator and Head Chef to assure a seamless event is achieved and follow up communication with the Events Coordinator or Head Chef.  Responsible for all food/product preparation and assuring all food/product that is produced meets or exceeds all quality and safety standards.

Experience Required:  At least 2 yrs. experience working as a chef or line cook.   General knowledge of bookkeeping, inventory control, and managerial skills are essential.  Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with subordinates, other department managers, and the general manager is important.  The professional ability to communicate orally and in writing is expected. Must be capable of handling customer complaints with skill and efficiency and employees with respect.

Position Available: Executive Assistant to General Manager/HR Manager

GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK:
Performs professional and administrative work in the overall assistance of the general manager and board of directors. Provides minimal secretarial support to committees and department managers. Maintains and submits all liability insurance claims. Maintains the policy manual and distributes policies to appropriate staff and committees. Prepares for and attends board meetings and prepares information for board review at board meetings, board minutes and maintains board records. Strives to effectively resolve property owner and guest issues when directed by the general manager or in his absence. Must be aware of the confidential nature of information and strictly observes confidentiality of all information. As the Human Resources Manager this person is to effectively develop and implement the Human Resources department while maintaining a high level of customer service to the management and staff of Treasure Lake Property Owners Association.

KEY OBJECTIVES:
The key objective of the executive assistant/HR manager of the Treasure Lake Property Owners Association is to maintain a high level of secretarial and administrative support to the general manager, board of directors and to provide quality service to the property owners and guests of Treasure Lake. As human resources manager to provide appropriate training and support in the area of human resources to the employees and department managers. Must administer the HR policies and procedures in a manner to ensure compliance with all state and federal labor and HR laws and best practices.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
A general knowledge of accepted office procedures and equipment. Proficiency in word processing, database and spreadsheet software. Strong document editing and proofing skills. Excellent time management, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Must be knowledgeable in current HR laws and best practices with the ability to analyze personnel issues and consult with management to resolve appropriately and successfully. Must have the ability to develop additional HR processes and procedures to keep the Association and its workforce current with the ever changing employment law field. 2 years' experience in a similar position preferred..

The executive assistant/human resources position is a full time position and is paid on a non-exempt basis.

General Skilled Worker

Proficiency in carpentry, dry wall and painting and gen. maintenance knowledge required. Proficiency in plumbing, electrical, etc. a plus. 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar position preferred

 

 

General Laborer with Mechanical Skills

Perform repair and maintenance on diesel and gas powered vehicles plus general maintenance labor and road maintenance as required. Clean and valid driver’s license required, CDL license is a plus. 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar position.  PA State vehicle inspection license and owning basic tools customarily used by a mechanic is preferred.

Full-Time/Part-Time Summer Positions

Position Available: Administrative Clerical  (position has been filled)

Primary Responsibilities: This position is the front line and first point of contact with the TLPOA.  As such, a high level of customer service must be maintained. The assistant front desk receptionist must effectively resolve property owner and guest issues prior to referring them to another TLPOA employee. The assistant front desk receptionist may offer clerical support to other departments when his/her services are not immediately required by the front desk receptionist. This position requires an awareness of the confidential nature of information and must strictly observes confidentiality of all information.

Position Available: Lifeguards

Primary Responsibility: Is the safety of any person using the swimming pool or beach area. Responsibilities include supervising swimmers through proper scanning and consistent rule enforcement, preventing accidents and injuries and providing emergency intervention. Provide individual assistance to all members and guests as needed. Must have Current Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid Training.

Position Available:  Experienced Servers

Primary Responsibilities: Serving guest at banquets, special functions, or in a normal dining room operation, while maintaining a safe, and clean work environment for fellow employees, guests and providing a friendly, attentive, and timely service to create an exceptional experience for all of our guests. Must be at least 18 yrs. old.

Position Available:  Experienced Bartenders

Primary Responsibilities: Mix and serve drinks to patrons, directly or through wait staff, for the bar, restaurant area, and banquet functions, while maintaining a safe and clean work environment for fellow employees and guests. Must be at least 18 yrs. old.

Position Available:  Experienced Cooks

Primary Responsibilities:  To accurately and efficiently prep, cook, prepare, and plate menu items of the LVL, and Golf Taverns. Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Position Available:  Golf Maintenance Workers

Primary Responsibilities:  The golf course maintenance worker performs multiple tasks on the golf courses each day such as, but not limited to: mowing greens, fairways, tees, aprons and bunkers; moving pin locations; raking bunkers; mowing rough; hand mowing green banks; stringtrim; overseeding divots and other tasks assigned by his/her supervisor.

Position Available:  Golf Course Operations:

Pro-shop counter, outside operations/starters, carts/driving range. All staff must act in a friendly, attentive and professional manner at all times. Pro-shop must be detail oriented and able to multi-task. Must be at least 16 years old with a valid and clean drivers’ license.

Position Available:  General Maintenance Workers

Primary Responsibilities:  Responsible for light landscaping, maintenance on POA roads, property, and facilities. Duties include but are not limited to landscaping and light road maintenance. Must have current driver’s license and clean driving record.

Position Available:  Beverage Cart Staff

Primary Responsibilities: Responsible to provide excellent customer service to the golfers while providing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages on the courses. Must be at least 18 years old.

Position Available: Concession Stand

Primary Responsibilities: The employee is responsible for the day to day operations of the Treasure Lake Property Owners’ amenity to which they are assigned as a service to the property owners and guests, and is responsible for the day to day operations of the amenity. Must be able to make change accurately.

Position Available: Golf Taverns and Pool Side

Primary Responsibilities:  Serving guests, short order cooking and some bartending.  Must provide a friendly, attentive, and timely service to create an exceptional experience for all of our guests. Must be at least 18 years old.
